I decided to stop downloading music, so I deleted all my pirated music and bought my first (good) CD, Rust In Peace by Megadeth. It's so much more enjoyable listening to music this way. I appreciate it a lot more now that I have a lot less music, plus the fact that I paid for it.

Today I ordered With Oden by Our Side by Amon Amarth, and it should be here within a week. Next CD will definitely be Bleeding the New Apocalypse by The Project Hate MCMXCIX, which I'm going to order directly from Lord K. It's so cool how personal they are with all their fans.

The only problem with amassing a collection of metal CDs is the fact that I still live with my parents who are Christians (I am Christian too, I just disagree with churches on a lot of things including music) and if they see any of these CDs, I'm probably gonna be in some shit, but it'll be worth it.

So seriously guys, if you're in the habit of downloading any music that you want, try what I'm doing. It's worth it, I promise, even if you can only afford one CD every two months like me.

You can download it all here (not an illegal download, I own the rights to this music and have chosen to distribute it through torrent). I divided it into 4 basic categories: Songs, loops, short songs, and soundscapes. This is pretty much all the music I've ever made that I saw fit to keep, and some of it has never been on the internet before.

If you like death metal, industrial metal, or complex well-made high quality music that has tons and tons of blood sweat and tears put into it, you would probably like The Project Hate, and if you can fully appreciate their music, you'll be a fan of TPH for sure. The music itself is like I said very complex and just really top-notch music, and the people involved with making the music are great people and stay in direct contact with their fans. I've talked with Lord K a bit about metal and stuff, he's a really cool guy who puts together amazing music.

Anyways the label that released their most recent album apparently isn't interested in putting out their next one, so they are going to be relying on donations to record their next album. In the hopes that there are some fans here on Newgrounds of theirs who haven't heard this yet, or potential new fans, who will be willing to donate money to them, I'm posting this. I for one am definitely going to be donating, probably only $20 but anything helps, plus that's more than half of my current amount of cash haha. Anyways, if you're a fan, help em out, if not, listen to these songs and become a fan!

Normally I'm not too much into goth metal, but After Forever is too creative for me to pass up. Plus, out of everything in my music collection, After Forever's song Evoke sounds THE BEST on my new headphones.

That's some pretty good music, if you can stand the simple lyrics that I personally find refreshing. They have some of the most powerful riffs out there, and a great vocalist. I only listen to their 3 most recent albums though, the production just isn't that good on the earlier albums, but is magnificent on their newer ones.

Their albums tend to have some filler songs though, which I don't keep, so even with 3 albums I don't have much of their music unfortunately. Hopefully they will come out with another even better album, with just as good or better production of course.
